1. Can I come without a partner?
Yes.  At the start of each class we attempt to match up couples as best as possible and when available, have more advanced students step in to help. We also constantly switch partners to give you a feel for what social dancing is like.

  2. Can I miss a class?
Yes, for women it is not a big deal but men should try to make every class because their learning curve requires more practice.

  3. Can I make up a missed class?
You can arrange with the instructor if you miss a class.  We have frequent practise sessions at On The Rock and Roma Bistro.

  4. What should I wear?
We suggest loose comfortable cloths that allow perspiration. Tight jeans are not suggested. Wear comfortable Indoor shoes.

  5. I am having trouble registering on your website, what should I do?
Send us an email and we will register for you. Registering online is a good idea because we send out reminders of free practices.  Also please update your browser to the latest version.

  6. Do you teach other classes besides Salsa?
Yes, besides our two staples of L.A. and Cuban Salsa, we also teach Bachata, Merengue, Spins and at other times, Belly Dancing.

  7. How long have you been teaching?
Salsaddiction has many instructors and the combined teaching experience is measured in decades. If you would like a sample before trying, please attend our free weekly Salsa classes at On The Rocks on Thursdays or  Fridays at Roma Bistro.

  8. What should I bring?
Bring a bottle of water and indoor shoes.

  9. If I have already taken basic Salsa, would it be alright if I start in Level 2?
For both the follow and the lead, you should know the basic step without thinking about it, how to do a cross body lead, an enchufla and the foot work for an outside turn and/or a quarter turn (if taking Cuban).  If you feel comfortable with social dancing, at least at a basic level, then you are probably ready for level II.  A good way to tell what level you are is to attend the free salsa lesson taught by Salsaddiction at On The Rocks on Thursdays at 8:30pm (cover is $5).  If you are comfortable with everything there, you are probably ready for level II.
